The veggie patch.

Our veggie garden is going really well this year. It's loving the rain and also the hot spurts in between. There are day when it feels like we're living in the tropics cause it'll be hot and muggy in the morning and then rain and storms in the afternoon. It sucks for outdoor fun in summer but it's great for our veggies :-)

We've picked about 4 zucchinis so far, HEAPS of yellow beans, a couple of cucumbers (they're a different sort to what we get at the shops which is why there are fatter and light green), and we've had a couple of tomatoes ripe enough to pick too. There are heaps more green tomoatoes out there, more zuchinnis, beans and cucumbers growing, plus some capsicums growing, the corn is getting tall, and the chilli plant is flowering. It is very satsifying to eat yummy fresh produce grown at home. :-)
